  2. An interesting analysis

Does the doubling effect on the font suggest seeing double, or perhaps an equipment malfunction?

To be clear, the letters are strictly speaking symbols (as the signifier / signified relationship is learned), however, the expressive features you discuss are iconic

Your discussion of lighting is good, to express the same points in narrative terms, it establishes an enigma

You might have a think about the non-verbal communication as well; how does this express meaning?

  6. The are many strong features to this analysis and you have explained clearly how the poster manages audience expectations; however, try to use narrative terms (could you have used enigma in this analysis?) and use more precise medium-specific language (what type of font is used - serif? sans-serif?)

  8. Stong use of semiotic terms, but don't forget that your analysis must also use medium specific vocabularly - could you have discussed the features of the camerawork such as framing and angle? also, I am not sure that I would describe the shadow as a symbol, as in semiotic terms it is iconic (it directly represents its meaning)
